What about strength training/HIIT training? As you said, can’t spot reduce but can help you burn more calories.


Probably all of the above, and maybe change up the types of workouts every once in a while. I’ve been doing HIIT/strength training about 2-3x a week, but sneak shorter workouts (eg a 10 min core workout), on other days when I am either doing cardio (2-3x a week) or low impact (e.g. yoga). I also have tried to change up what I was eating - not so much dieting (though I should do that too) but doing thing such as eating less meat (or at least eating less red meat), dairy, opting for higher fiber items, egg whites instead of eggs, just small incremental changes that way.

Perhaps a sauna vest?


Yes! I have found a lot of success with one from Target. I went from an XL to a M…. I will say as a fellow top heavy gal, sometimes the fat we need to lose in our upper back and sides as opposed to the boobs. Hope this helps! And don’t be afraid to just get a bigger size shirt too.

There are breast minimizing bras if that’s what you are going for!

I lost 35is lbs a few years ago focusing on endurance cardio. I dropped a whole cup size using the Cybex Arch Trainer machine at my gym. I used it 4 times a week for 45 min and was able to cut excess fat like crazy. Upper body workouts also help strengthen the muscles around the boobs which can help with lift and comfort.

Other than a minimizer, I have nothing to offer but empathy. I'm in the same boat and added bike commuting to my routine...packed a dress I hadn't worn since 2019, thinking it was safe, I only have 10 pounds to go.... It was not safe. It was NSFW, even. Sigh.

No advice on losing the boob weight, only on taking care of them. Do not squish your larger boobs into your too small bras. Get a bra that fits. Hold on to your old ones in case you shrink back down, but don’t go squeezing yourself into the ones that are too small. It’ll hurt and you will look terrible spilling out of too small bras. It’s entirely possible that even after you lose the weight your boobs won’t go back, because they will have changed shape now. It happens 🤷‍♀️. You have my sympathy. Bras are expensive.

Upper body workouts. Go lift!

Cool sculpting (where they freeze the fat cells, which permanently eliminates them) may work. But I’d go to a vetted plastic surgeon and not a med spa if you’re considering that for your breasts. Even results and eliminating fat cells from the right spot will be important to your results. And it can’t really be undone.

Nyc 🐠- I am looking for a civil surgeon to complete the immigration medical exam. Any pointers for a cost effective option in NYC? Had my Green Card (AOS) interview today for a marriage based application. We did not receive an immediate decision after the interview. One item cited by the officer was the expiration of I-693 medical records (it’s been over 2 years since we filed). Coincidently, as per new USCIS guidelines, they’ve extended the validity of I-693 to 4 years due to covid. I didn’t know this or else I would’ve called it out. I’m hoping this doesn’t generate an RFE. Anyone here with a similar experience? Any RFEs?

Has anyone gotten into arguments with family members over the science of COVID and taking the vaccine? I firmly believe that it ultimately is your decision whether to get vaccinated, but I’d also be remiss not to share why I think we should trust the science.
