A lot of graphic designers have been transitioning to product design or ui design and I'm curious if anyone had any regrets? Or maybe want to go back to graphic design?

Prob better off product design or ui IF you want to make money doing pixel heavy visuals for digital. If you like getting paid less doing visuals without any creative flexibility/freedom — Advertising. This is just my opinion. It depends on what you like doing more.

I did more digital stuff for a couple years and it was such tedious work once you get past the concept stage. I’m back to branding now and love it and there’s no shortage of work.

My friends who left branding and went into UI/Product purely did so for money, and miss the creative freedom and respect branding brings. I think if you’re trapped in advertising however it’s a solid pivot.

I’m newer here, what is product design and how can I transition?

Product design is UI/UX Web Design, you can transition by taking intensive courses with like Super Hi or General Assembly, or to really transition take a certificate intensive.

How many first year analysts here started as interns? What did you guys do to get those jobs?

What's average comp for an SA3 or first year manager at Deloitte? Thinking of making the jump, but realize it may be better to come in as a senior associate b/c it is harder to get staffed as Manager.

Experienced hire consultant here. Definitely noticed the favoritism towards on campus hires by senior leadership. Working day and night on my PPT skills. How long before ppl just assume I'm one of thm

Best comedy show you follow out there?

After having worked in industry, in a start up, and in consulting, I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t like working.

Before leaving client site... Director: let's chat on Sunday to get a head start to next week. Me: 🖕

What would it take for you to make the jump to industry? A certain number, more work-life balance or a big title?

I hate my project! That's all :)

Started as an analyst 1.5 years ago - how much should I have in my 401k by now? Worried I haven't been contributing enough

Gods of the bench: give me motivation to overachieve and reinvest.

Been with Deloitte Fed cyber adv for a year. But do a lot of work on the PM side (recompete, Onboards). Thinking about leaving but unsure where I could apply these skills outside of consulting.

Were you happier on the day you left the firm than when you joined? Curious to know.

Which card gives a higher point value for SPG stays - CSR or SPG AmEx?

I have to ask, why is it necessary to bully those of us that prefer return to travel and office culture?
