Anyone here in IB restructuring willing to share tips and good resources to use to prep for an upcoming interview? I don’t have IB/finance experience but took a modelling course on wallstreetprep. Also, I am planning on studying the HL case study and read the interview guides on restructuringinterviews.com. Lastly, If you can share what the interview was like for you, that would be appreciated. TIA

Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

I'm going through this right now. I helped 3 people land MBB as exp hires recently. Have an offer I don't really want to accept but a job > no job so I get it.
Trust me. You're not not progressing at all you know? Experience is worth something regardless of if it's exactly where you want to be.
Keep trying, things will eventually happen one day!

I hope so!
Definitely don’t compare yourself to others. Not worth it. I moved to a rural area in Idaho and am so much happier being away from the competition of life. Created a card game and am doing a couple of side hustles. Am making more money doing that than some partners make and am a whole heck of a lot happier.

Im in the same position. I have interviewed at 12 to 14 places since July and nothing yet. Keep positive or it will reflect in the interviews. Maybe ask one of your successful friends to do a mock interview you and give you feedback.

Yup, I have a friend at McK helping me prep! I’ve applied to about 55 jobs and have been rejected from all
Happy to put in a referral if you find a role that you think would be a good fit :)
What’s your current role at Uber if you don’t mind sharing
Same here! Been trying since august and no luck. Doordash rejected me saying competition is high and we found better folks. My resume isn’t even getting thru the ATS with referrals now 🤷🏻
Thank you! Hope we can turn our luck around soon! Good luck to you too!
Remember, if something is not working repeatedly try to change. Evaluate what went wrong and work on it. Every failure is a lesson you learn. I always analyze post interview try some changes and observe if that helped or not. Continuous improvement is the key… with same input you will get more or less same output…
Something that was helpful for me to keep my spirits up (may or may not be for you). You only need one acceptance. I got rejected from 10+ companies and finally got an offer from McK.

Keep going, but if what you do doesnt work, chamge ir. Ask for feedback of your interviews, and how could have nailed it.
@EY1: My friends tried interviewing.io and at that time they had deal that don’t pay until you are hired. I am not sure if that’s still applicable.
Is there anything you believe you could change in your application content and/or method? What did your friends do when they were successful?

Their feedback isn’t really helpful. Usually just, “I got lucky.” I have a case prep coach and have been using RocketBlocks to prep now in hopes I’ll see some change in outcomes after my interviews!
