Hi all, I want to create a github portfolio to showcase my technical skillset to prospective employers. However I'm aware that deloitte (just like other companies) has confidentiality/IP issues around client work. How can I showcase my work/ technical skillset using code from my work without breaking any confidentiality? Almost all of the data science/data engineering work I've done is for clients. If anyone has figured a way around this, I'd appreciate any insights that you can share.

I have worked with Forbes top companies, for-profits, non-profits, & startups. I consider myself a solver of complex & complicated problems requiring mixed method research & novel solutions. This has led to issues in self-referencing title. I’ve been project manager, data engineer, developer, modeler, analysts, principle DB developer, etc. Most of my w2 work has been from offers of 1099 clients so I am usually asked to define my own title. Any T-shaped data people who run into this?

Been on a project for 2 weeks and thinking it’s not for me. The manager is kind of rude when I ask for help/direction, but he always says to ask if things are uncertain. He always has this condescending attitude and just keeps telling me that he expects more of someone at my level, C. I just keep feeling anxious that I’m not meeting expectations and feel reluctant to ask for help. Anyone in the same boat?

Big law corporate associates are little more than project managers... constantly reminding people to do things. Shouldn’t we just staff a project manager on each deal so associates can focus on actual legal work?

Wanted to open CSP with 80k offer and went to the branch to get the $95 fee waived. Yesterday they increased the offer to 100k points, but at the branch they told me that offer might only be online and that right now they only waive the fee for 80k points. Should I open on the branch and get 80k and no fee, or online 100k and pay the fee?

I’m a bit confused as to how pursue projects. I got hired as a Data Science Consultant as part of Global AI. There aren’t many available roles within Global AI or Solutions AI. Looking for my Figma experts out there! Have you found a process that works well for both copywriters and designers? I’ve worked on some projects where the copywriter directly edits the text and tags the designer to make sure the design still checks out. I’ve also been on projects where the designer doesn’t want the copywriter to mess with the design, so they copy and paste out of a copy doc. If you’ve figured out a solid process for collaboration on Figma that’s efficient, I’m all ears.
