What does a “computer toucher” even mean? Does your client just verbally command his/her computer?
For me, everytime there is a millennial joke <insert avocado toast comment here> going around in a boardroom, all eyes are on me. I’m not even a millennial 🤷🏻♀️
I have no idea. I think it’s their catch-all for nerds who spreadsheet and deck build all day.
I’ve had numerous clients who think they are clever by calling you “the Bobs”.

Were you the note taker? Managing the parking lot? Scribe isn't an insult, it's a role. Should have used your name, but wasn't an insult.

I’ve had a few public sector and military clients, and they certainly view strategy folks with this lens; not loyal to the mission. You booz allen staff aug folks atleast have luxury to stay there and flip badges.

A few clients have referred to be as “the southern one” and “the pageant girl” when they didn’t know my name. 🤷🏼♀️ I took both in stride.
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t meant positively but I agree with you.
Our team was referred to as “slugs” by a client. No clue what they meant but we were a bunch of Americans in London so maybe it was slang?!! 🤷🏽♀️

Yeah K1, I am kind of fancy and was very expensive for them, that’s why that comment. P1, I am not mad about it, it’s just the little part that hurt me 😒 don’t mind the client saying it at all. But once a client product manager stomped in front of me, can we count that as insulting 🤔
