When is the recruiting season in tech starting?
New to Fishbowl?

Ha. That's funny. And untrue
False, but I welcome MBB / ATK / OW opinions
Not sure how the conversion would work from MBB to B4, but often when people move to BCG they drop a level. I've seen plenty of managers interviewing for C roles. Different if the person has a skill set that's in demand (eg for our new TURN practice).
Granted, I would imagine people would want to get bumped a level or they would likely be taking a substantial pay cut by moving to B4 otherwise.
Can you elaborate D1? What's a post- MBA role at D?
And how long to make director from there?
I think it's true if u think of switching firms. Seems ppl go down a level when jumping to MBB. As far as responsibilities go? I'm not too sure.
The issue is not that big 4 to MBB creates a drop, it's (IT or Ops, or Data) to (Strategy or Deals) that can create the drop. Strategy Big 4 to MBB or Boutique is the same. The other difference is that at big 4 there is an MD and a Principal/Partner, where MD is salaried and Partner is commission driven. At MBB and Boutique there is no MD, only Partner role.
We only hire from Big 4 strat or corp finance and we make them down a level - we would hire a manager from big4 in strat to come as Consultant (that is equivalent to post mba hire)
In fact, in my office Big 4 even means D and KPMG, no PwC nor EY. Sorry guys, not sure if any reason, but that's the historic over almost 10 years (could be relatively strength of big4s in the region)
What region/office B1?
Northern Europe
Probably has to do with relative strengths of the Big 4 in your region. My office has a few from various places, including PwC, EY and Accenture.
Where you from B2?
Northern Europe as well
Very interesting indeed!
Maybe spell out what the director role is and we can compare?
Just below partner and u still have to sell and kiss partners assess to make partner
