A recruiter messaged me saying he takes a low maintenance approach? I can’t tell if this is a good thing like a low maintenance friendship -you just call them when you can type thing or is he lazy? Would you look at “low maintained approach” as a pro or a con?

I’d say it’s a pro because recruiters are usually so pushy and annoying

I would take it as the former

I used a guy to get my current industry job who said something similar.

He was really good but legitimately didn’t want to babysit and listen to candidates waffle and complain. Basically wasn’t going to hand hold through the decision making process.

I liked it. Definitely wouldn’t have wanted someone being all pushy. Which really is most external headhunter/recruiter types - grind through as many postings as quickly as possible.

It's always been a dream of mine to work at Google, specifically as a UX designer (currently transitioning into UX from visual design). I've been so afraid to apply to any jobs with UX title, Google or not, because I'm always doubting myself and telling myself I'm still under-qualified.

UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!

Do folks have trusted/valuable resources for researching luxury family travel with young kids? I don’t care the cost, I want to know what is most convenient and nice for my family. Feel like generally most resources are geared to either a) families on a budget (I don’t care which hotel is best bang for buck w/mid breakfast) or b) couples / adults only travelers. Do folks just stick to true five star hotel concierges for help? Do folks just book luxury tours like A&K? How do folks research?

I started at a new firm this year in January. I had a billable goal that was given to me mid year of around 1750 house for the year. I am nowhere near that and definitely will not meet the goal.
