Hello Fishes !! I am about to receive an offer from EY GDS for a role of a Business Analyst_Banking finance (Principal Consultant) with a CTC of 27 LPA (inclusive of 10% variable). I am having 10.5 YOE. Is this grade relevant which they have offered, taking my YoE into account? How much i can negotiate upto in CTC front? I mean the highest slab of Principal consultant? TIA

Currently 2 YOE at 125k TC working in a specialized area of Workday consulting. Expecting to clear $170k TC by 4 YOE. I am debating pivoting to a strategy role before becoming too pigeonholed, but would have to take a pay/level cut. Is it shortsighted to move from a lucrative tech consulting path to strategy consulting due to fear of being too specialized?

WWYD? I have an offer for the same job I currently do, but at a different B4 and (hopefully) with better leadership. Still interviewing and was told today that my candidacy was very strong for the position I really want at company 2, but they won't be able to make a decision for at least 2 weeks. I have to provide a decision for the first offer soon and have stretched out the timeline as much as possible. Take the gamble? Go for the job I really want vs. anything to get out of a bad situation

Any software engineers have any tips for me as I embark on this journey? Thanks in advance!

Had a recruiter reach out for an S3 position at EY’s FSRM Traded Products, Risk, and Capital group. Can anyone give me some insight into the group? Is it large scale transformations, PMO-heavy, or do they have a big digital component to delivery as well? Toxicity in the practice? They also mentioned targeting 130-135 base. Does that sound about right? I have 3YoE but second year SA. Any help is appreciated!

Currently in a rotational program at EY (first year out of undergrad). Got placed on a long term risk project and wondering if it’s worth it staying long term. Currently interviewing for the strategy team at a legacy payments company (think visa or Mastercard) and wondering if it’ll stifle growth doing internal consulting. Would definitely appreciate any insights on this as I’m not too sure who who talk to and ask. Thanks!
