Obviously there should be a representative in the SCOTUS from each state. Like a state representative system, really very smart when you think about it. Then maybe there should be an executive branch within the SCOTUS that makes the ultimate decision. This executive should be elected by the people every 4 years. Maybe call them President of the Supreme Court of the United States of America?

We gunna do this back and forth until we have 301 judges??
The last time this was tried by FDR, his own party shut it down saying it would destroy the court. We cannot seriously be considering this. Dems need to stop trying to go nuclear on everything all the time.
Uh, wrong? Not approving garland had no effect on the total number of justices on the Supreme Court. Having a vacancy is not the same as reducing the number of justices by 1, as was clearly demonstrated when Gorsuch was appointed shortly after Trumps election.
Do you not understand basic math?

The court will be “6 to 3” (although that’s a bit of a misnomer). Would you pack it to 6-5 or truly power grab 6-7?
(Edit) would you be ok with the republicans doing the same when the opportunity arise for them?
Make it even 6-6, let the court be hung if needed.
The court has turned into a political sham anyways.
Take it up to the next odd number, no? If Republicans want to do the same in the next round then let them go ahead and do it. It’s not like the constitution prevents them from doing so...

Is the next odd number 11 or 13? 11 still gives the “conservative” justices the majority
