Consulting Exit Opportunities

An undergrad reached out with questions on some offers, which one would you go for? Why? 1. Finance Rotation at a big tech firm 2. Accenture Strat 3. Deloitte S&O 4. PwC Strategy& (not DS)

S& or Finance. Depends if he wants to start in consulting or he sees him self pursuing a career in tech/finance in the future.

Is 1 FRP at Microsoft? If the undergrad wants to do Finance, sure, but if not, all the other options are better. Personally not a fan of finance functions so I’d choose consulting over it

While I love S& and would pick it out of the list I'd also consider the UG's interest in their specific vertical

How would people rank options 2-4?

Interned as 1. Did not like it. I chose between 2 and 3 for FT. I can definitively say I am much happier than my classmates who went to 3. No idea about 4. I would say 1 or 2 if this person is chill and values having a full, fun life.

What makes S& better than DS&O?

I would go with 1) and then deloitte, and then s& and then accenture. Speaking as an ug.

If anyone wants to join a boutique HR & Talent Advisory consulting firm, Kincentric is hiring for an Associate Partner role! Location doesn’t really matter, but preferably in IL, NY, or ATL.
