My wife’s period is a horrible, angry time and I obviously can’t do anything about it, can’t say anything about it, and can’t count on her for any sort of task for the next week at least. And I have to suck it up and deal with someone I love treating me horribly, every month, until the wonderful issues that come with menopause. Every time I fight with my parent, they bring up the fact that they spent all their money on me and my education. I am grateful that I had parents to support me. But, to always bring it up and to try to guilt me does not sound healthy to me. I am beginning to question my parent’s behavior. Is this toxic?
