Loyalty loyalty kya kr rha h ?
Those who are not skilled enough to switch only those people cry loyalty loyalty.
So what even if you get higher band the % of hikes would still be pathetic and that too mostly in variable pay.
There's nothing wrong with the company it's always been this pathetic, if you are expecting them to change by your rantings then you are gonna be disappointed.
People working in companies like TCS should understand that good money is only for higher management people like our Gopu. If you want more money switching is the best option

Have patience, you will get on-site soon
Vietnam Indonesia is even cheaper they can do the work that tcsers can do
Everybody is telling to switch company and get better hike there. But i understand your pain. I have worked in 4 companies in last 8 years. But I always wanted to stay in a one company and wanted to grow my career. Is it too much to ask. I mean if some other company who hasn't even seen our work ready to offer 70-100% hike why can't the company which we are currently working give even half of what other company offered. Don't loyalty and hardwork means nothing these days. This problem is not with tcs it's the problem with every company. When we ask for hike and promotion they don't give a damn but when we put papers then they are calling us voluntarily and saying they will give hike and promotion or onsite. Will they acknowledge our talent only when outsider Recognizes it. I'm totally fed up with IT, but the problem is I don't know anything apart from this. Sad life

In short, no. Loyalty doesn't matter anymore. Try to accept it and be company agnostic. Work towards your personal and financial growth.
Trust me it's hurts so bad ,,I've been with TCS for 6.5 Yrs with 5.1 lpa (System Engineer,no ITA given ) moved to Infy with 12.5 CTC and 3.2 L Joining bonus ,,after 8months ,,now planning for switch with 20-23 lpa on the pipeline ,,,just come out of comfort and dont wait for carrot onsite
I have realized this at 5th year and now serving notice period after 7 year and getting rejected 18 times due to notice period issue or technical skill. After rinse and repeat i have managed to crack a company. TCS gives you an illusion that you are best the moment you step outside you realize how worst you are.
@tcs1 dont make fun of wipro , wipro and accenture ask pretty tough question when hiring for core roles. I got rejected by them in full stack developer technical interview once and once for notice period discussion. Infosys will hire easily on the other hand.
Hope?
There is nothing called loyalty. It's all about comfort zones which we are enjoying 😸
We are on same page bro...
We will have to move on... Thats the only mantra we have to follow now

At TCS you get to learn a lot and earn very little. If you focus on learning for initial 3-4 years(or in case like mine where it took 6-7years) you can crack any interview. I cracked PWC, IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini all in first attempt. It then comes down to the fact that you have spent so long and become comfortable that your mind rejects change. I had cracked EY when I was 2YOE, capgemini 4 YOE and Deloitte India at 5 YOE but all through those times I had a mental block and rejected the change. But then I took my final decision at 7YOE and don’t regret it. Infact the only regret I have is why did I not switch earlier.
I agree with you. I have learnt a lot during last 8 years in TCS. You just have to balance work and learning and you'll be ready to crack most of the interviews. I had also cleared quite a few interviews in last fews years but was reluctant to leave tcs.
The market is hot. You are also hungry. Jump
Switch bro. They have hard core ethics
It's not like that I was amongst the very few employees who had trust in the company but now I am realising how wrong I was. Despite of consistent top bands and two promotions, the package has not seen any significant growth.
Also, I rejected some external offers in last few years. Had I gone ahead with those offers, I would not be posting these rants today.

All the best buddie hope you'll get the offer soon
I wanted to understand one thing, is the onsite opportunity given by tcs really worth it ? I mean how much is the salary increase compared to the Indian salary we get in TCS ?
Big4 exposure as consultant add two fold value than that
Kitni mili hai hike isbar?
