A year or so ago, I had an interview with IBM for a Program Manager. Good thing it I didn’t work out as I got something better at a more modern tech firm. However someone told me there’s a Complex Project Management cert which IBM offers only internally and apparently makes the PMP feel like a joke. Any way you can take something similar externally? I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?

I attended a client interview last week and was selected for the same. Now they are asking to join within a day or two. I'm having my mom's surgery this week. How to safely refuse to join this client project for at least 10 days. I can't take leave for 10 days.

So I have been made an offer by a company I like but it’s pretty similar to my current package (I also like where I am).
