A3 audit looking to go bigger market next summer (will be S1 then). Want to get out of Core. (FDD, CMAAS, RA). Is it even worth trying to do an internal transfer (tier 3), or should I try another B4?

What market? Everyone I come across seems to have an easier time going to another B4

like

Sorry to be a bummer, but I think it will be hard to transfer to FDD or CMAAS as a T3. Wish you the best of luck, though!

like

T3 might be a challenge internally. At the same time, job market is great with lots of great opportunities.

DM for a referral to EY Fdd

Or KPMG 🤣

A T3 would not be a problem moving to RA. Often being in the right group helps to have a higher impact. Where do want to go?

Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. Currently work in the fund of funds space - moving over to my firm’s hedge fund research team soon so CAIA seemed like a perfect way to get knowledge in the area beforehand. I’m almost one year out of undergrad (econ background) so a lot of the CAIA content is new to me

I am about to hand in my notice at a job I am pretty secure in, to go to a job for a relatively new company (with a significant salary increase). Any tips for:

1. Getting over the nerves that are as a result of taking a risk (I am late 30's)
2. The guilt of leaving a role where I have an amazing working relationship with all my colleagues and my boss

Any tips would be appreciated as I am a mess of nerves!!

What companies or jobs would I be able to use my skills without starting from 0? It could be in the vein of education or something completely different. The new school year is about to start & I've been job hunting with no luck. I have such high anxiety and depression thinking about having to go back to the classroom in a few weeks. I hate it! HELP!

Currently I work for a mid-sized InsureTech that’s had 2 rounds of layoffs in the past 6 months. Salary is 100k, with no defined bonus. I have close to 4 years of PO experience. I am debating whether I want to leave since my boss is very chill and I have amazing WLB. Benefits are eh. 15 PTO days and healthcare premiums are okay. Should I jump ship? What could I be making at a bigger company? What types of companies are most stable right now?
