Has anyone seen any evidence that “confidential” engagement surveys are linked to reviews and raises?
I have heard murmurs of this. Been working my butt off in a very tough environment (great company, very toxic division) and they’re asking questions like “have you thought about looking for another job this year? Would you like to be working here next year? Does your work energize you?” etc. The truth is that I like the company and the work but I hope to move to another division next year.

What is the annual review process at Visa? Is there a set % of the team that is rated in the bottom performance bucket?

I am aiming to become an HR Advisor by the end of the year. I have a 1st class degree in Business with Human Resource Management which is CIPD Level 5 accreditated. Does anyone know of any qualifications or courses I'd need to help me become an HR Advisor?

What do you look for in a financial planner? I’ve never been so aggressively pursued with sales-type pitches (e.g., Northwestern Mutual). I’ve sat down with a couple but really struggle to feel like they have my best interest in mind. Is a financial planner worth it? Or, is enrolling in a roboadvisor going to get me similar results for fewer fees? My only debt is my home and federal student loans on IDR (which will stay on IDR).

I have 200k in HYS. Currently have 1k in BTC. Id like to start DCA to diversify my investments. How do you recommend this? Should I buy a bunch outright and then start investing 5-10% of each paycheck?

I have $200K in betterment for automated investing (eg 90% stock 10% bond) and use Personal Capital to track all my accounts. Recently personal capital approached me to use their advisory service to manage the investment - the fee is 0.89% vs. 0.25% at betterment. They don’t seem to have a better strategy except “we have a live person managing your investment”. Anyone have experience? Shall I consider it? (I don’t have time /energy to manage it)

What are your thoughts on paying PMI on a mortgage? I’m looking to buy a house in a year or two that are $300k. I have about $80k in cash and don’t know if I should continue building up my cash reserves and put 20% down or push more to retirement. I’m currently at about 20% going to 401K/IRA, then get 6% profit sharing. I save 54% of my gross income on average.
