Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments. I have a query. I have purchased a macbook whose price exceeds the prescribed limit. How do I raise a request in concur portal as it throws an exception ( EEA approval required) when I input the actual expense as the amount greater than the limit. Can I go ahead and mention the prescribed amount only in the expense field?

I got my 1st pay slip and wanted to get clarity that whether Employer Contributions towards PF is a part of our CTC that is being shared in the Offer Letter or not?

I can see from the calculations that I did is Employee contributions PF adds up to total amount which is mentioned in the offer letter.

Employer contributions is on top of it looking at the payslip.
