Currently a staff 2 in audit and considering transferring to a different LoS. Can someone in M&A at the big 4 walk me through what your day to day looks like as a senior? Also, any tips on the best way to transfer from audit?

I work 10 hour days 5 days a week and 5 hours on Saturday and I feel burnt out. I used to work 80+ at Big 4, so it’s an improvement. How and why do you choose to work 80+ hours still?
