I’m interviewing with Kearney now but I’m on the fence about whether I want to potentially sacrifice wlb for money. Can anyone here tell me about the culture at Kearney, exit ops, meaningful work, wlb, etc at Kearney?

l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

Any advice on what to do?

A recruiter for a company that I was excited to work for has ghosted on me (it’s been a week since they have given me updates). I’ve been told that things are delayed bc several key folks are on vacation atm.

How should I approach this situation? Several other companies I’m interviewing with is reaching final rounds, but tbh I’m not as interested in those roles. Plus I’m getting antsy being unemployed for several weeks since I was laid off.

I just recently joined a team. The organization's stand is they don't care where we work from. Most people work from office once/twice a week and I generally go once a week.

While I was recruited I was told my role doesn't require me to be in office. I now have a new manager (diff from the one who interviewed me) and he indirectly keeps pointing out that I am not in office often like "oh anyway you are in only on Thursdays" etc on multiple instances.

How do I handle this?

I can’t seem to be resilient enough to keep nurturing the relationship with friends I made after 25 yrs old (roughly). We hang out for a bit. Exchange numbers. Maybe have a couple of casual chat. Then it fades… I am happy to see his/her new status on LinkedIn. I may like some social posts. and certainly wish that person all the best. I would love to hang out again if the friend initiates anything. But I lack the momentum to truly “own” it…

I've always been asked why I found a "proper" job at my 30s and wasted my years in unrelated jobs like call centers and inhouse calls for installing Windows.

I can't seem to make them understand that in 2008, it was impossible to find an IT job in Greece as a woman. I had certifications and knowledge but I couldn't even get a callback. I would send the same CV as a man, and they would call immediately.

Now things are different but still this question comes up and I'm struggling to answer it.
