Why is gentrification portrayed as bad?
Hi,
My last working day was 11th Nov and I submitted my asset to TCS location and got the Initial release letter as well. Later on 17th or 18th of Nov, I got a message from TCS that they have sent the Packing material through Vendor, please accept it.
I didn't accept the material and cancelled it when the delivery boy came to my location.
So, is it going to create any problem in getting reliving letter? Share your thought please

Yes and Yes. Always be over prepared
PRINT YOUR RESUME.
This has nothing to do with being green or living in 2018 or whatever. It’s a physical reminder that sits on your future employer’s desk.
Agreed with cw1. But it doesn’t hurt to be prepared. Also doesn’t hurt to ask hiring manager
I always bring hard copies of my resume, and if you have work that you can show, definitely bring your lap top. It never hurts to be prepared and ready for anything!
1) no
2) yes
Your site should have your resume and work on it. If they ask for paper (which they shouldn’t and if they do that should tell you something) say you’re being green. With LinkedIn and websites I see no need for a paper res.
As a hiring manager I always asked just to see if they brought it. If they didn’t, they’re unprepared
Hard copies are unique now. I had cards printed for the first time in years. People think it’s cool. (Or that’s what they tell me and somehow I’m placated.)
Why am I an idiot and can't remember this stuff? Don't answer that. Just the first 2 questions ⤴️. Thanks.
Granted I don't have as much experience as you, but more than likely I've interviewed more recently than you. From what I've seen, the first interview is about your work and if you're a good fit creatively, but everything after that is chemistry.
I’m doing the same and everyone looks at my portfolio beforehand. I did a resume for fun but no one asks for it either.
No it's not. It goes right in the trash. Also, this is a completely antiquated a superfluous practice. I landed my last three jobs without one. Just list anything you think matters (awards, press, past agencies if it's not apparent from your work) on your site's about page and call it a day. If you must leave something, have a nice card that doesn't take up space on my desk.
I stopped bringing hard copy resumes a LONG time ago then yesterday during an interview, someone asked me if I had one. “Shook” is an understatement.
I had it yesterday. Most had a LinkedIn version printed. But some we're impressed with my fancy hard stock. Thank you, Daryl, Staples print manager.
^ You're welcome, from those of us who advised you to bring some. Hope you get the job!🍀
At this rate, don’t forget to bring your head.
Thanks everyone. Made a late night trip to staples last night for resumes. Bringing my laptop. We good.
