Leave. It’s not going to get any better and you’ll hate it more the longer you stay. It’s a slow death by a thousand cuts. Don’t do that to yourself.
I don’t know where you are or what field or what your environment is like and I appreciate how challenging it can be when you’re the only woman. I was a math and physics major in college and then entered technology consulting. There were no women when I started and very few women partners even now, so I have lived through it. Although I tell you I was blissfully ignorant in the earlier years.
My advice to you is assess your situation and environment broader. How are the opportunities? The people? Where are you in your career and life? Do you have sponsors? It is frustrating to be the only one but it could also be very empowering and a significant advantage. The reality for me was that it was not women who made me and by that I mean taught me, coached me, sponsored me, fought for me. It was men. If you like what you do and have the right support, you can be the minority and have a positive impact for not just yourself but other women. You can always develop relationships with women outside of work - clients, people in our industry, etc.
Good luck to you!
