Just trying to view insights of current professionals in the space. Legislation definitely will not lead increased demand but significant impact company margins. We know how that goes when profitable in impacted, companies will want to make it up somewhere.
Recently had a CDD that had me going down the path of understanding how pricing legislation could impact pharma marketing spend. The end result was not much as we are already seeing stagnation of marketing spend by pharma over the past few years with a slight transition away from past formats (live TV, print) that were often on the more expensive side.
I would say that some of the interesting trends to look at are rising costs of drug development, increasing levels of inorganic growth, and the increasing focus on C>.
