They still have the 100k points welcome bonus, not sure how long it’ll last

Apply for a card with at least 80k points intro offer. Most have spend requirements around $4-6k. The Amex plat I think has offers currently for 125k points and those are worth easily over $2k if used right.

Amex plat has a solid intro welcome bonus. I got 125k points and the requirement is 5k in purchase I believe in the first 3 months

Check out /credit cards in Reddit. Depends on what cards you currently have and your goals. Amex gold has had some high intro points offers, same with platinum but it’s if those benefits make sense. I love my flat 2% cash back fidelity card which I use for most big purchases. But if it’s in a category you can potentially earn more points / cash on certai cards and that’s always fun

Do you care about an annual fee?

think I decided to just put it on my Capital One Venture card to get 2x miles on it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Scratch that — went with Amex gold for lower annual fee

Getting haunted by the fact I didn’t get promo for 2 years and just got it this year. The peer then is my (thin line) day to day reporting manager who still leans on me. While I respect her position, I’m feeling like I don’t have the independence of “running the show”. The client has been ours for over few years so I can’t even make “relationships” work. No team reports to me directly so feeling like I’m still a SC but with a title. I hate bringing low energy but what can I change about this?

I’ll be having a convo next with where I tell my manager I got another offer, how do I ask for a counter offer without demanding one? All the things I’m looking for (WFH, title change) are things I’ve been asking for. For example,I’ve been doing the EP role for a year without the promotion.

Has anyone ever heard of or seen a case where a Senior level MBB leave consulting to take on a CHRO or Sr. VP of HR role?

Hi everyone. I interviewed for a sales role at Amazon. I was told the role was an L6 and I can stay based in Chicago. Well, the recruiter emailed me today saying the hiring team felt I was better suited for an L5 role (estimated total comp is $140K-$150K) and I would have to move to Seattle. They'll send me an offer if that works. Any advice or opinions on how to negotiate? For context, I gave a desired salary range of $280K-$310K since this was an L6 role, and my current TC at P&G is $200K.

I’m 30 years old and have been running my own (small) agency over the past two years, working with local businesses. I’ve got a solid book of client and spec work, with creative ad copy. I’ve also written for Sports Illustrated, so I can write anything from articles to ad copy. Before that, I worked in communications at a few law firms. Now I’m looking to work at an ad agency as a copywriter. Honest question: is it a reach to pursue that? And, if it isn’t a reach, do I apply for entry-level?
