I’ve been offered a new role for 48k with a signing bonus but I’ve checked on Glassdoor and can see the budget for the role is 50-73k. I’d it worth me trying to negotiate for higher? I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

I’ve been prepping hard for M&A technicals (reading R&P, biws400) for a move to an MM IB firm but got hit up to interview for a T2 consulting firm (LEK, EYP, OY).

My goal is to break into PE potentially but I’m not sure if it’s worth putting in effort for T2 consulting interviews because I believe exits from T2 are more limited compared to an MM IB like JEF. My question really boils down to how do exits from a T2 compare to that of a top MMIB? Appreciate any and all insights!
