About to start working on a state project, how is work life balance/enjoyment of work on these types of projects?

We're in crunch time on our project. The overall program requires weekend support from a key technology team comprised only of client resources (the code deployment team). Despite the fact that it's the client leadership requiring weekend support and we are also working every weekend, we the consultants are the ones being treated like we are making them work their weekends and have to deal with all of their crying and complaining. 😀🖕

I resigned a while back but I am stuck in a support project.The mgmt won't release me even though I have made clear that am unhappy and uninterested,asking me to join meetings and standups.
I don't know a lot about a module but I have been made a lead of that of the module. The way of working sucks, as the client adds an entire feature in a story.Others who knew about the app have been released. How dumb can be CG management and higher ups.Everyday I am waiting for the weekend

How do you put together a business driver achievement strategy? How does a junior level consultant put this together? Who should I involve internally? I've done my fare share of reading and realize this is not exactly up my alley. Never done strategy work before. My team is not being very helpful and we need feedback from client leadership, I can't bring them a half baked deliverable.
