About to start working on an open source project with a team. In your experience, what’s more impressive to employers? Iterating on an already existing open source projects code base, or creating one from scratch? Any other advice about OSP’s for resume building is appreciated as well!

I recently had an interview with HCL and cleared 2 rounds of technical interview. I waited for a week for HR call but no such call was received. I then contacted the POC who scheduled the interview (he is an HCL employee) and he said that I have been shortlisted and will receive HR call shortly. This was 1 week ago and I have still not received any call. Has anyone else faced the same issue? And if yes, should I even expect a call fro HR?

I m doing leet code problem solving practice since last two months to crack coding interview however I feel it is hard to solve medium and hard category problem most of time . Is anyone else faced similar issue and able to overcome by following tutorial or course ? Any kind of leads to overcome this Issue will be helpful . TIA

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?

Applied here and interviewed (presumably to the final round) and didn’t end up with an offer, I think due to the specific experience I’ve had so far. I want to definitely try again in the future when I get more experience. Is there a specific grace period that is ideal? Would this look bad if I apply again since I’ve been rejected before?

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’m up for a promotion at work and I have no idea how much to ask for since it’s not a standard position. Currently I’m a team lead and manage about 8 technicians, my promotion will be to a regional service delivery manager, and I will be managing over 30 in 3 locations. I went from a tier 1 engineer in managed servers to team lead with about a 10k increase in salary.I’m thinking about a 15k increase this time from 65k to 80k. I am a Product Owner with 4+ YOE. I have been in my current role for 4 months and have continuously found that this role and company are not the right fit for me. Looking back on everything they said during the interview process it turns out that the culture, product and role are not aligning with anything we discussed.
