Marsh & McLennan I am moving 2 hours from my office. My manager says i have to come 2 days to office. When i come to the office its only me and couple of other people. No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

PwC India Folks, heard from someone that AC Kolkata will publish hike letters next week. Please vidate this info.
Also, if i resign now/next week and my last working date is after July 31st, i can still get my hike and bonus, correct? This is written in the employee handbook and my offer letter. I would appreciate if someone who has greater insights to reconfirm this.

Looking for feedback for a Project Management Platform for SMBs, freelancers and Founders
Hi! A friend recently launched a Project Management software called Heycollab - I think it’s pretty cool and like the UI but I’d love to get more feedback - they’re very passionate about the product and would appreciate the help!

It’s a national pay scale. No negotiating. M1-M3=172, 182, 192. Bonus can be up to 20%, but <10% is common.
It’s 5k down for each level (was 177, 187, 197 last year), so the offer is what it is, but it’s not competitive. For pay and progression, I’d recommend taking an alternative big4.
The pay changes I’ve seen in Strat are where you can get a big retention bonus with a competing offer or can accelerate up a progression point. Perhaps this year they did do away with those base points levels, though, since we have Strategists in the south calling out their pay stayed flat last fall.
SM - any hints you can give about Strat group or region?
Thinking of leaving Accenture because of the trash raises we got this past year. M1 making 129k. I’m aligned to MC but on a strategy project.

A5, the Tech Strategy talent segment within TS&A aligns with Strategy; the Tech Advisory talent segment within TS&A aligns with Consulting
You guys should move to cloud technology consulting if those are your base salaries at M. I was on a higher base salary as a tech consulting M at D at all 3 of these levels. Then it was much easier for me to transition to FAANG than my strategy counterparts who had to compete against MBB, tier 2 strategy firms etc. In fact none of them got into FAANG. I easily got in just based on my tech product knowledge, spent 3 years as an L6 from $250k-$280k TC, now an L7 making $350k TC at 31 years old.
I know this is an older post, but Acoustic can you give some info about your background (degree major, types of projects, and your role on the projects?). I’m looking to make a move and trying to figure out which projects/roles are best to target.

First year Manager - $172.5k base salary
M2 - $182.5K
M3 - $192.5k
Can be 4yrs, but that’s very atypical. 5yrs is common for homegrown, (which is the same level as 1yr post MBA) and 6 would be standard progression.
What’s is the comp for SM1, SM2, SM3?
Oops. Something didn’t save in my edit. Up to 20%, usually much less. Stock grants of 18k vesting over 3yrs. Double grant is possible.
