I am a campus recruiting manager at a big 6 accounting firm living in NYC.. fellow campus recruiters - what is the approp salary range at your firm?

Does anyone have any perspective on what the comp package should look like for a product marketing manager role at Salesforce based in SF? Candidate has 6 years of experience plus an MBA.

I gave a salary range to a couple recruiters for digital consulting positions and am not sure if it was relatively close to market value or not. Would you think this (admittedly wide) range is high, low, or reasonable? Any advice is appreciated!

Some info:
- Both roles are for boutique digital consulting firms in Chicago
- Consultant 1 positions requiring 3-5 years experience
- My range: $100k-$120k base
- I have 4 yrs experience, 2 of which in a BA/Product owner role (non b4 accounting firm)

I'm currently working at a multinational bank as a data scientist with a salary of 27 LPA (all fixed).

Getting another offer from AXA XL insurance company and they are offering 33.5 LPA fixed plus 7 LPA variable (total CTC: 41.5 LPA). But this is a data engineering role.

Is it worth accepting or should keep trying for a better role and company?

I was a senior engineer (robotics, 8yoe) at my last company... but am switching industries. If I go switch somewhere where I have less industry knowledge (say I become a test engineer on the manufacturing side testing high power electronics where as before I did r&d/prototyping of self contained lower power robotic/embedded systems), will I have to come in at mid-level?

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm fine with the title but am a little more worried in the potential 10-25k drop in salary.
