How hard is it to get a product interview coming from a strategy/consulting background? I have no tech background.
I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?
I’m currently completing a third round interview for a marketing agency which has given me the assignment of finding information about a company they had received a Request for Proposal from. The company is private though so finding key information has been tough to find. Any suggestions on where to source this information from?

I would love to work at Microsoft. Currently hold a TS clearance, 4.5 years in project management, bachelor’s degree in Business. Applied now to hopefully have my resume in the system but would like to stay here at Booz at least until the end of Q1 of 2023. (Applied for a position but was rejected possibly due to being 4 months under the desired experience)
If there are any recommendations I can do on my end from now until then I would love to hear them!
Hi. I had an interview with Accenture this Tuesday and have not yet heard back. It's been 3 business days. Do you know how soon we are supposed to hear back from HR ? Bad sign ?

Anybody working in Kpmg lighthouse advanced analytics ... would like to learn about the culture and the practice area if possible .
Had an interview last week, recruiter may as well been a robot. The best part was her telling me all these great things about the growth of Salesforce the last few years. They did so well all new hires are now hourly employees! These blue chip companies are becoming a joke. Indeed is now doing the same thing…both claiming it’s better for when you work OVERTIME 😂
I saw a survey that the #1 reason people are changing companies is culture. In interviews, 95% of people say they want a collaborative environment. Talk to each other.
What's Morgan & Morgan like to work for? They are recruiting a lot and wondering whether it's worth it to jump ship. Particularly interested in what the environment is like, whether the cases are good quality or whether they just go for volume, and whether the comp lives up to what they promise.
I keep getting the job when there isn't a face to face interview (in person or zoom) which makes me think my young Asian face is a deterring factor. Anyone else experience the same?

Hi, I've been very fortunate enough to be in a position to discuss an enterprise account manager role with Nvidia.
I have worked very hard to get here, I have some relevant experience, but as I don't have the full experience of an account manager I've been studying what they do day to day etc.
I would like to discuss this with an account manager, my conversation starts next week I would appreciate it so much if a few people could come forward and help!
Is $23/hr as a recruiting coordinator with Amazon (contract) a normal rate? I’m from California!
Our nurse has an email group of our states school nurses that she can bounce ideas off, or ask questions etc. Is there anything like that for secretaries? Teachers are keen to share how they handle things in their classrooms, but every school does attendance, has messages that need to be relayed thru the day, all these things going on, I just always wonder how it's handled elsewhere. I took this position two years ago and I don't like "This is just how it's always been done".
Question for CD copywriters out there... does your AD partner like to get involved in creative directing your scratch tracks? Telling you what your inflections should be, etc?

How do I get a dog? I want a small designer dog. Open to and actually prefer adoption, but usually those types aren’t available to adopt. Like a shorty bull or a cheagle. Something you don’t see every day. Yes I googled it, but curious to know what other people have done that worked for them.

Currently in our risk/IA team but whole heartedly want to move to FDD/M&A. Q for the London 🐠, how do you go about the move? Do you finish the ACA first then move, or move during grad scheme?
Any insights would be massively appreciated!
Would moving from a firm to an employee relations position mean that I never secure an in-house employment law position? Or would such a move better position me to go in-house one day? I am having difficulty transitioning from a labor & employment firm to an in-house role, and so I am exploring alternatives while keeping in mind my future career trajectory.
Questions for the pros.
1. So, crypto is largely split into two camps: a. Coins (currency or SOV that enable transactions - BTC, LTC etc.) and b. Tokens (to be used as proxy for investment in a start up - XRP, ETH etc.). Is this understanding correct?
2. I️ understand the argument for value for a. Is in acceptance, subscribers, liquidity and transaction scale. Is this correct?
3. Have no idea on how to think about b. Why would the price of ETH increase because the product is good for instance? The crypto isn’t equity, so what drives the value?
Anyone worn All Citizens shirts? Looking for a athleisure feeling dress shirt and have heard good things about them.
What is your take home pay each month and how much of it do you spend each month (i.e. what’s your monthly budget)? I take home around $22,000 and spend around $13,000 and I keep thinking that’s an insanely high budget for a single person 🤷🏼♀️

I’m an incoming analyst at Deloitte. Compensation will be 85k + 15k signing. My personal NW is 110k. I’m 17 but I’ll be a junior in college this year, will my age effect my chances of landing an internship in quant finance for next summer? Hearing about the difficulties involving successful attempts at landing an internship at target companies has made me weary, as I don’t have any related work experience. About to graduate, looking over my options within political advocacy/gov relations positions… I have one campaign under my belt and have worked under two reps at the statehouse. Its difficult to narrow my search and find which jobs I’m eligible for. Most require 3-5 experience so I’m just applying to things in the hopes that they recognize my work during college as experience.

Hi! I’m a senior and am graduating in May with a degree in Accounting and Finance. I have a job offer for $62,000 in an audit position. Is this sufficient for an entry role or should I continue to look elsewhere? Thanks
I graduated at the height of the pandemic, Spring 2020, with my BA of Computer Science and there wasn’t really any in-person positions or internships available. I felt I really needed an opportunity like that to solidify my skills. Now, 2 years later, I am still serving tables and I am wanting to launch back into my tech career. Should I only focus on getting my coding skills back or are there less technical jobs that I could maybe be qualified for based on soft skills and degree alone?
