Sitting next to my jar of client tears.

What is the bench period in IBM? I joined on jan 2022, it's been 6weeks still clocking the bench code. I have cleared one project interview after one week suddenly they released me from the project. Don't know why After that I am not even getting single project call. What shall I do now? Should I wait here or search job from other companies? Worried :(

I'm a believer that the majority is project dependent. But in my experience the people at Accenture have not thrown me under the bus
And if someone called me at 11 pm there's absolutely zero chance I would answer. We're human and we have lives outside of work, that's absolutely unacceptable.
Agree with everyone else. I’ve never been thrown under the bus. I’ve also never been called that late. Hours are very project dependent but people usually respect the fact that you have a life. I have a good friend at D and our experience is vastly different. The stories I hear from him are insane. As a result, he is currently working on moving to ACN.

Accenture is mixed but maybe fairly better. Was on a great engagement last year but currently on a similar crazy engagement like the one you mentioned above, started this new craze one in February.. Accenture is not too bad though

It’s project and leadership dependent. My current project team is a joke. Just ask important questions before joining any group.
Many of the polls I see floating around say avg Accenture person works 50 hours a week. That's about right. Obviously, in crunch times it can be 100.
Will second OP, currently working similar hours, and have my client sending emails at 2AM my time and expecting replies (they are PST, but expecting answers at 11PM anywhere is a bit much IMO)
An organization defines how the culture should be, and sets guidelines. However projects/ accounts/ leaders within the organization are entrusted upon to implement the culture and sustain the culture. Having worked in Deloitte for 9+ years and Accenture briefly before I can vouch that it is all PROJECT dependent. Your experience is purely based on this and you’ll form opinions on the organization based on this (for the most part!). So just make your own decision based on your personal factors and situation and if a place doesn’t seem a fit move on!
I don’t know how it is at Deloitte, but at Accenture I feel like our people have a reasonably high level of autonomy to choose projects, especially once they have a network and track record.
Personally I’ve found myself in a bad project scenario a few times, but I was able to get out gracefully once I saw the red flags. Now that I’m closer with my leadership I also have more sway to course correct the situation overall.
