Has anyone left as an audit manager for a controller position at a Bank or Financial Institution? What salary increase did you get? What are the hours/stress/benefits like? Are you happy with your decision? I understand there are many factors but I would love to hear from those who have made this transition.

I’ve been at a new firm for a couple of months and feel incompetent half the time when I’m explaining something to my new boss. I’m a third year and am usually confident in my abilities, but I feel like a first year again and I’m unsure if it’s the new more specialized practice area, being uncomfortable in a firm where I’m the new kid, or if I’ve regressed practically. Someone tell me the discomfort of being new wears off semi-quickly.

I want to repaint our new apartment before move in. We have a baby currently four months old. Please recommend paint that’s safe for the baby, we may only have couple days to circulate the air after the repaint. I am also debating myself weather I should do it for the safety of my baby. I have been offered a role as a specilist into pmo team... The offer they made is 16 lpa including variable and my joining is in the first week of sept. It's been more than a week and I haven't got the offer letter yet.
Wanted to know if it's the right offer and is there a structured training program (KT)? Also will I be given a project or I need be on bench and go though the project based interview again?
