My interview got over on June 29th right after the interview the recruiter called me and told I’m selected and they will be sending the offer letter. He mentioned there will be a delay in releasing the offer letter since merging is happening right now. few days back I sent a mail to HR.. but no reply. and after that I received a mail stating they are no longer considering me for this position. Does this happen to anyone else ?

If anyone is interested in a free virtual product event, I'm volunteering at product camp San Diego and will be facilitating a conversation about the worth of product certificates on the 22nd. Again, the event is free, it's not a lecture, and we aren't pitching anything.
Product camp is just a community group where product people can network and learn from each other in communal discussions once a month.

Advice for physically and mentally regrouping when you have a ton of stuff to do but are under a lot of stress and are possibly a bit burnt out? Can’t seem to shake this fatigue and lack of motivation since April started.

For those who do cold immersion regularly: what does that regiment look like? I started taking cold showers post-workout but my shower isn't really that cold and a bath will likely take more time and effort so it'd be a one-off. I'm wondering what others have done, what their results have been, what tools you use, etc.

39F, gym member seeking fitness advice
I’m a management consultant with 2 kids and in the worst shape of my life at 140lbs+ (I’m 5’2, and the weight doesn’t look good on my small stature). I have a gym membership but struggle with consistency. When I go, I just go for the group fitness classes.
How do I get better: physically I need to get with a plan, and I suppose nutritionally as well? What has worked for you, as a management consultant and mom - to make time for yourself?

Is it normal for a therapist to ask for your salary and bonus amounts? I’m guessing he wants to determine a fee to charge me but this is kinda confidential info I don’t want to share.
Sometimes, if I’m woken up in the middle of a really deep sleep, it will take me a few minutes to remember basic facts about my life (like where I am, the name of my SO, etc). The rest of my memory is fine, but this seems a little odd - namely because I rarely hear of anyone else sleeping this deeply without sleep aids. I’ll bring it up with my doctor during my next check up, but I’d like to do some research first. Google yields nothing. Has anyone heard of this - or have ideas where to search?

Ladies - when in the process of losing weight do you still eat at a deficit during your period or do you eat at maintenance? I’ve been trying to research online but am getting conflicting advice. Some people are saying you burn extra calories during that time so you need the extra food (is this true/a worthwhile amount?), some say eat at maintenance just to get through it mentally, and some are saying stick with a deficit. Would appreciate personal insights!
Does anyone struggle with chronic post nasal drip? What has worked for you in the past? I take allergy medicine (nasal spray and zyrtec) and it still doesn't fully resolve the issue. Any advice would be helpful
