Switching from commission to salary-only.

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role (supporting some post-sales). It doesn’t pay commission, ie. will have a higher base but less overall earning potential.

Would you consider this? What reduction in cash should be expected going from a variable to fixed compensation? For example, if you made $200k today, would it be realistic to ask/expect $180k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?

I am still under probation and got a job offer from another company. How to reduce Notice Period.

As I am moving up the ladder, I am finding my executive functioning skills are not able to keep up. I struggle to take initiative, organize and complete non project work— BD, training or even connecting with my sponsor partner. I procrastinate & then it is too late. It has gotten worse after becoming a mom. I felt I had to work incredibly hard for my SM promotion compared to my peers. How do you all cope with this? Or is it time to quit consulting?

I have an offer at very small company (30 team) called Jasplabs which works with US clients. They have very less infrastructure. They are currently working on powerbi dashboards and moving on to IBM SPSS. I have one year experience as Data Analyst and i have asked them for 9LPA.
