Actively interviewing and it seems like salary ranges for Technical Recruiters with 6+ YOE (like myself) ranges from $117K-$170K+
Any insight into the market and what to ask for in interviews? Especially with software development companies or in FinTech

With that YOE, I would definitely aim for the higher end of the bracket you mentioned. At least over the midway point.

like

Agreed. You can def get the higher end. Best of luck to you.

If you’re based in NYC I’d start at $150k

like

Thank you!

I would start at $170 K, don't go lower, and don't settle!! TA is in HIGH demand, make your worth.

What’s market for 2 YOE

I spoke with an agency recruiter in NJ recently who works for a Philadelphia company and with 10 months of experience her base was $72K. I’m not sure what two years would be — before the pandemic it was common for recruiters with 2 years to be between $45K base and $68K base with 2 years of experience in the east coast.

Hoping for some advice on how to properly leverage another job offer to help make another company pull the trigger on you. I’ll explain: I’ve been interviewing with Company A for a month now and have met with GC, CFO, creatives, and today the final round with HR and CEO. I have a good feeling they will extend an offer but it’s not a slam dunk. I think I’m top 2. Company B has extended an offer but one that I’m not really considering (moving to a new city/not enough money). Do I mention this....

If an employee goes out on FMLA, obviously the benefits person sends them the STD, FMLA paperwork etc. But is it the maagers responsibility to maintain communication with the person out on leave and to get a timeline on their return or would that be the benefits team? Or maybe the HRBP?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of.
