My desire to quit goes up every time I see a post like this. Good luck dude and congrats

Just put in my notice last week and feel free. So good luck and go for it! This seems like this best time for new beginnings.
Yeah I am taking some time off to explore as well. I have been working in data analytics for the past 3.5 years and feeling bored and burnt out. Want to pivot away to a career where I feel more in control of my days

I’m getting so close to doing this too. When they ask why I’m leaving I want to say I don’t want to miss out on the Great Resignation - just want to be a part of history 🤣🙋♀️

I keep reading about people doing this, and it is hard for me to understand. Are the people that are doing this single and live with their parents? As someone who is married, with children, and a home, I can’t understand resigning with nothing lined up. How will you pay for things?

I know for myself I’m single with no kids. I would’ve never even thought about resigning if I was married with kids unless I had something else lined up. It wouldn’t even be a choice for me. My company has a really high attrition rate and most if not all of the people that I know that have resigned don’t have kids.

Am miserable. And I cant do something I don’t care about for the next 40 years. Especially now that I realize the difference between 60k (what I started at) and 100k (what I make now) is close to none in the grand scheme of things
