I'd rather shit in my hands and clap, than have to deal with PR people
I tried PR for about 8 months. It sucked. Smaller budgets, smaller opportunities, smaller pay, more formal environment, risk adverse clients. I don't mind the people though many do hate creative agency people. And let's be honest- for good reason. We always treat them like shit, bring them in last minute and expect full alignment on our ideas or we just cut them out.
I find PR people quite annoying. Not sure if I'd want to work with a ton of them. Maybe things have changed since everything (media) is merging
PR people make up more stuff than we do. Lots more smoke and mirrors that our side if that's even possible!
PR people are 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. they literally schmooze for a living. Is that your cup of tea?
Nobody is "winning." But PR people are making the current crop of MBA ego maniac client morons feel better, so you could say they are winning, I guess.
"could say" and "I guess" lead me to understand that's a NO on PR winning any of the categoties I mentioned lol @Publicis1.
