What are some ways to stop dreading work everyday? I’m beyond grateful that I have a job and have a source of income but I feel so drained every single day that I just dread having to do it all over again the next day.

Anyone have any info on what larger firms in smaller markets such as Nashville, Louisville, Birmingham did in terms of covid/special bonuses and/or retention bonuses in 2020 and 2021? I’m at a “big” firm in one of those markets and my firm hasn’t given a covid/special/retention bonus at all. Just wondering if that’s the norm.

I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

Had an interview with Hexaware and 3 days back HR1 called me and said she will send the offer letter next week. 2 days back HR2 called me and said a client interview is scheduled for you and I attended that. Now if I fail to clear the client interview round, will I not receive the offer letter that is promised by the HR1?
