Added in Retin A to my skincare regimen, after reading skincare posts here. Using pea-size amount every other day, 2.5 weeks in and I’m a peeling mess. 😭 Does it really get better? I’m 30.

It gets better after 6-8 weeks

I peeled too much and just couldn’t use it. Saw derm and got facial and I they both said my skin was just too sensitive 🤷🏻‍♀️ and my face hurt so much!

OP, make sure you're using moisturizer and no harsh face wash

How long are you waiting after washing your face? In the beginning it helps to wait ~30 minutes to ensure your face is completely dry before applying

I am using Peter Thomas Ross retinol serum - seems to work and no peeling

Right now I’m using Cereve moisturizer and face wash. Hoping this peeling will ease up after the winter travel.

Every other day to begin with is harsh. Start off twice a week and up from there, it’s strong stuff!

What’s your % strength? I use lower strength and the gel which is less harsh.

Other than what BCG2 mentioned, are you applying a moisturizer after retin A? That is an another very important step, to be applie 15-20 minutes after retin A. I use Bobbi Brown hydrating balm. It is very thick and helps a lot with the peeling/dryness

Really appreciate the tips. Definitely will wait longer after washing my face to apply, and will then apply a moisturizer. Thank you!! 🐟

I heard someone make a bold statement that contributing to a traditional 401k versus a Roth 401k were the exact same assuming the same tax rate. I ran the numbers and to my surprise they were not wrong (even considering the earnings). Can anyone explain why a Roth would ever make sense given that income will likely be lower and therefore lower tax rate in retirement?

Go to EY for Manager one position in private client derives or Deloitte? Which gives better resources. Which has better people. Everyone that I interviewed with were great so it’s hard decision! Pay is way more at Deloitte with sign on bonus higher than EY for manager one position.

Hi everyone. I am quietly looking for an IT Project Management role in the SW Houston area. I have 7+ years exp in tech sales and 2+ years as an IT BA. I currently have my CAPM and in less than 12 mo I’ll have enough project hours to take my PMP. I’m looking to move into OG, Energy, or B4.

Started this bowl because I unexpectedly lost a parent years ago and it still affects me to this day. Wanted to create a safe space, ie a group where people who are going through similar experiences can vent and realize you’re not alone (: welcome to the party!

I was just asked to relocate to a different city. The move will come with a raise and promotion, but I'm conflicted. I enjoy where I live right now and I like being close to my family. Would love some advice.
