Hi, My joining is on 12th December. When can I expect Onboarding details mail and stuff?
I have been told that it arrives two days before joining.
I have to relocate to join and have been told by the team that travel desk will contact and arrange for that.
Kindly provide info on this.
Thanks in advance!

I find structural solutions are the most helpful when breaking bad habits. Ask a friend to hold your tv for a while for you, install a blocker on your web browser, cancel subscriptions, make plans in advance so you don’t aren’t at home alone. It’s extremely difficult in my experience to just “slow down” on things like this so I recommend cold turkey for a month and then see what you want to do later.
Also, try actively tracking how much you’re watching and keep a record. I find it’s easier to modulate when I’m real with myself about what I’m consuming.
And, give yourself structured alternatives. Like, usually right now I’d turn on Netflix, but I’ve planned this week to spend that time calling my college friends to catch up instead. That kind of planning helps so you don’t feel like you have nothing else to do.
Good luck! It can be hard to break habits but realizing this is something you are motivated to do is the crucial first step.
Find something you really enjoy and interested in. I find that I get in that hole when I’m depressed and have that “don’t see the point” attitude. What usually get me out is cooking or baking. Because it gets me up and walking, and following deformed steps (recipes). Get my brain warmed up enough and happy enough to do more productive things. Also, small steps... nothing changes overnight. Be kind to yourself. We are humans, not CPUs.
Thank you BAH1. Most people deserve kindness. Let’s spread positivity and lessen judgements and assumptions! ❤️

Wean off like any other bad habit- remove viewing time, eliminating more hours each week. If you can, go cold turkey all week and allow binging on Sundays only for example. Last- ask yourself what’s causing the need for the escapism. I’ll binge watch for an unhealthy amount of time whenever I want to stop thinking about certain things or ppl, it’s ok to give into it once in a while, but if it’s constant it might be time to look for root cause.
Try moving the TV into a spare room you rarely use. Out of sight, out of mind, but still accessible for the occasional rainy Sunday afternoon. If you’re truly addicted, get rid of the TV and use productivity software to block the streaming websites from your computer. Schedule other activities in place of it, scatter books around so there’s always one within arms reach and find someone to hold you accountable. You’ll go through “withdrawal” like any habit, but eventually you won’t miss it. Good luck!
C1 said it better as I was typing this. 😊
OP, two things. Empowerment and Enjoyment. Both in moderation. Use Empowerment completion as a reward for entertainment. Set some learning targets and use the completion factor or point system for binge watching. Yesterday i binge watched and today i did learning.
