Recruiters, is it frowned upon for candidates to reach out to you on DM on Linkedin? Or does it show that they’re more interested than just submitting an application?

But the HR is saying they can offer only 36% hike.
YOE: 6
CCTC : 12 LPA fixed.

Please suggest any good sources to prepare for data engineer interviews in GCP, Python, SQL, Pyspark. I have worked only in a few tools in GCP and done basic coding in pyspark and above average in SQL, but need to be prepared to handle all questions to grab some offer. YouTube has lot of resources but confused on which one to start with. I have an interview this Tuesday in another 2 days.

Have others found it hard to transition from Audit to Financial Analyst? All the recruiters I’m meeting with are telling me I probably won’t get an interview since they’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running.

Should I complain to a firm's HR if the interviewers laughed at my answer during an interview? Maybe it sounded scripted but it was still heartfelt and genuine: my immigration story and how that made me appreciate the rule of law. I said it soo many times during OCI's that maybe it eventually sounded robotic, but for the interviewers to laugh and one to say sarcastically "nice elevator pitch", I thought was rude. Thoughts?

I have had the Competency, Technical and Role-play interviews and last time the recruiter called me she told me that they have gotten good feedback of me and are making their decision on hiring me, but she also wanted to discuss salary. Is it stupid of me to think that I most likely have gotten the job or am I in over my head?

Is there a minimum bump people tend to shoot for before making the jump (e.g. 25%)?
