Any insight in FDD S1 salary at big 4 in NY?
Interviewing for Strategy&, specifically for the Cloud and Digital Transformation group under tech Strategy as a senior associate. I Would like to know what would make a candidate standout here. I already did 3 interviews and now have the final round Partner interviews this week. I have a lot of strategy experience with tech components but I am not a tech expert, but I am extremely interested in increasing my knowledge and joining. Any tips?

How do you ask about culture? Do you ask about happy hours or team composition? What matters to you other than compensation and WLB? I’m trying to be a more curious person, and not just focused on the money

If I like public accounting but just don’t like the B4 environment and hours, does it make sense to move to a smaller regional firm? Would be looking to switch from audit to a more niche service line. What does "Consulting Technical Manager" at Oracle Inc translate into into level - M3 , IC4 ? Also what will the indicative RSU will be ? Trying to negotiate an offer - Base is approx $175K + RSU. Are there any other perks or benefits I should demand ? I was told joining bonus is embedded into RSU vested over 3 or 4 years. Appreciate any inputs.

I joined Deloitte in 19’ and don’t buy into the circlejerk that seems to go on both for / against the company - I like being a part of the firm but am underwhelmed with where the recent compensation cycle resulted. I have an opportunity with a small business to get a roughly $45k salary increase, but would have 2 sacrifice the security of Deloitte, wfh and paternity leave, which will come into play this fall as we have a baby due in November. Anyone make a similar switch before or havethoughts?

My in-laws think any woman or black person in a leadership position is there because of diversity and that companies shouldn’t try to put any effort into promoting diversity in their recruitment because it harms minorities as people will always think those minorities are in a position of power only because they were hired because of gender/race quotas. They also think it’s perfectly justified in prioritizing hiring a woman over a man (all else being equal) because of potential for ‘me too’. 😣
