I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

It depends on the concept. If it’s super conceptual I’ll push it more (12ish frames, nice colorful mock-ups with camera move reference GIFs). If not then I go broad (6-8 frames, vector sketches on tablet) and let the production company blow it out in the treatment and shooting boards.

Depends how much time I'm given / I have. Usually my boss prefers to see the key frames. Sometimes that means I have to make sure it matches the script to the exact description. But that means it's just a photo comp.
I try to stay as high level as possible always....unless the concept calls for more specific details to make sense. I’ve found that when you get too detailed (camera moves, details on actions or how the performance should feel, etc)....it’s just more stuff for people to say “no” to. I want them understanding it at a high level first and then I’ll get more detailed as I go so it’s not overwhelming. Too often people will argue in the weeds details without looking at the bigger picture.
