So I'm new to IT field and got only 1 year experience in automation testing using Tosca, I got training in java and selenium and I studied selenium myself in free time to learn more in testing, I'm thinking to make a switch next year. How much of a pay raise should I expect? And can I get referrals for QA engineers from companies like Accenture or TCS or other big tech companies? I'm a newbie so it'll be helpful if someone could guide me thanks

A great opportunity with a top brand has come up. I have not actively looked to make a move, but this role and brand looks really promising with a greater earning potential. Down side is I would need to relocate which I do not want to do and would be a challenge for my wife’s job . I need to move to a HCOL city from a LCOL of living for personal reasons. Do people have advice how to approach this conversation with compensation?
