Which step in the GC process are you in? If you are close to getting I-140 then stay and try to negotiate a later start date if not, leave

like

Senior position. So I’m really unsure and debating my position.

If you're indian or chinese with a long backlog, with an approved 140 more than 6 months, your PD won't be current anytime soon, leave. Otherwise, I'd stay

EDIT: Should I try to negotiate with my current firm for a raise + guarantee promotion by end of fiscal year? I do like the current firm despite a few hiccups along the way.

If you just started the whole gc process, you should ask to initiate your gc at the new firm within the first year and then go for it

What have you heard bad? Most Big4 have more or less same slow processing delays throughout the process.

EY won't file a PERM below manager rank. Even if you make manager, they won't proceed to file an I-485 until you meet the PW. I know a couple of people who were told to wait for another year since their salary as first year managers were below PW.

I have read multiple post and if seems EY process is slowwww. They also file perm for manager so u have to be manager to actually have the GC

Yeah... that is a major red flag for me. I rather suck it up and get my gc first.

However he said he’s on the lookout for other teams and managers to see if they are interested in hiring. Wanted to understand how much time does team match take and if currently GCP has any opportunities for TAM? The recruiter wasn’t sure of the timeline and when I could expect to hear from a team and I’m wondering what will happen next!

Hi team I recently got approached by a HR from Mars for a role based out of Germany. However, it seemed that she wasn't aware that I am an international candidate applying for the role even though my location was specified clearly in the application process. Does anyone know if Mars recruits non eu candidates ? The role really fits my skillsets and it would be a pity if they do not go ahead with the process just because I am a non-eu candidate.

Struggling with JE’s for earnouts paid post-acquisition. Amounts were paid out to former owners in a prior period. I think the entry was Dr. accrued expense; Cr. Cash. Now it’s sitting in accrued exp, so I asked why and the client says it was wrong and is reclassing now by Dr. Investment in Sub; Cr. Accrued Exp. (Investment in sub rolls up into current liability.) Does this make sense? I’m so confused about what this should be.
