No, I don't think you're crazy. Obviously you have assessed your financial situation before pondering this idea. Abuse is abuse is abuse. It's also an opportunity cost and it will only get worse, or you will become complacent. Your quality of life and emotional well being is up to you. Your employer is not doing you any favors. You deserve to seek better for yourself. Granted the job market is weird right now, a lot of places are still hiring.
Thanks for that! Normally, I would never leave a job without having something else lined up for the very reasons you mentioned. But I've been working for the same guy (I'm the only associate) for three and a half years, and I'm getting to the point where the impact this job is having on me is outweighing other considerations. Thanks for making me feel less crazy!
