You are doing great. Everyone's journey is different; there's no benchmark for success. My hobbies also include plants and books, and I picked up hydroponic gardening a few months ago!

You are doing great! What interests do you have? Plants and books are both awesome hobbies- I can’t keep plants alive at all, not even succulents 😅. Also, what kind of work do you do now?

Plants and books are great! Those are legitimate hobbies and more than what 99% of people in their 30s are doing. Add some exercise and I’d say you’re the model of a balanced, Renaissance woman!
I am you too! Except with 1 cat, and I’ve been ignoring this problem with video games.
I was like this about a year ago, but I felt this after having a kid. Finally started a new masters now, I’m 33. OP you have greta hobbies and I’m sure the bootcamp will be great! Talk to a lot of people that you want to be like, for eg I want to be a data scientist - so I keep talking to them a lot. From different companies and just networking with them has given me purpose and a sense of direction. As for the money matters, I’m still clueless - We both have 401k but neither me nor my husband have any properties even though we have a kid. I try not to compare with others, but I feel a bit sad that I wasted my 20s , but better late than never right? 😊
The PMP bootcamp I did felt like a nice break and it gave me some interesting ideas I brought back to my role, but it wasn't anything significantly positive for my career satisfaction. Since you like reading, that might be a good way to explore what your passion might be. But like others said, comparison is the thief of joy and age has nothing to do with it. Everyone's journey is different. I was in one field at the start of my career and loved it, but it eventually felt stale and now I'm doing something completely different that I love. Don't put too much pressure on yourself to match an earlier picture of what you thought you should be doing at your age!
Wow you are me, except I have one dog. I’ve honestly been struggling too and maybe if you want to dm let me know. I am currently working to connect more with my inner self and exploring my interests. I now understand that consulting is not for me. I have no fears about quitting my job, because my resume is strong, so when I imagine that I sort of can see what would make me happy to do right after. It’s been helping me connect more with what I truly know will bring me happiness and a career.
