I am a part of wipro DOP (MDPS) as a senior associate since october 2020 and joined as a fresher back then. I am now being pushed to take up as a TL because of my performance and contribution to the project management. However i feel with just 2 years of experience if i take the position i might have to stay much longer in the company than i intend to as a minimum requirement for position of TL elsewhere is 4 years of experience as associate. Also what is the salary slab one should get as a TL?

I joined Byju's 6 months back, as a Software Engineer.
At that time I had 2 YOE and my CTC was 10LPA.
I was offered 15LPA by Byju's and I accepted it and joined them.

Now I see new joinees with less than 1YOE joining Byju's with 18-20LPA, what should I do?

How easy is it to settle a case when working at a plaintiff’s firm? (Please excuse my lack of knowledge here.) I read about how much people hate litigation/are trying to get out and then I have friends who talk about how they want to go to the plaintiff’s side because you can make a percentage of your settlements AND there are no billable requirements. I’m in the former boat of trying to leave litigation altogether to go into corporate law. Is it all just “the grass is greener” talk?

I started doing 10 minute mindfulness meditations daily and it has been the biggest game changer. I find so much more calm and peace throughout my day. I even do it in the middle of the work day if I feel myself getting reactive. I use the calm app (they send you 40% off the 1 year subscription) and they have great material! Hope this helps. I’m so done with everything

I’m depressed. Nothing unique about my depression - I’m in big law, my career defines me, when I’m not working I can’t find the will to get off the couch, I’m sad or I’m numb…I know I’m the only one that can make a change to my life…I’m on antidepressants. Just extremely unmotivated and paralyzed. Self-help books are not for me, but I am curious - has anyone tried a guided depression/anxiety journal? Any recommendations if so? Or, if you have experienced the same, what steps did you take?

Anyone have any experience of beginning to take an ssri for anxiety/depression and the initial 5-6 days anxiety levels being through the roof and the inability to sleep. I started taking 50 mg of Zoloft (this is my third try at an ssri) on Monday and I’ve probably slept a total of 10 hrs since then due to it. My body has always been sensitive to medication so possibly that’s it - do I lower dose to 25 or just say screw it as I don’t know if my body/brain is taking a liking to this kind of medic

Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? I burnt out at my last job and the job before that and now I’m at a really good firm that has no set billable hours and a really manageable workload, but it’s still difficult to get any work done. It will take a long time to fully recover from burn out.

Everything that’s happening lately since the start of Covid lockdown has caused me to start re-experiencing a lot of ptsd symptoms that I’ve already worked so hard to recover from. This weekend of violence everywhere has absolutely broken me. Am I fucked? Do I have to go through everything from scratch to keep myself from another breakdown? Is this just my life forever now? I feel so broken as a human.

I’ve often heard of people with mental health issues struggling with personal hygiene. Has anyone done the opposite of that? I shower up to 2 hours a day (2-4 showers), and am obsessive with oral hygiene. Kind of like washing away my feelings of guilt....

Does anyone else struggle to accept your diagnosis? I’ve had two therapists suggest I try medication, but I can’t help feeling like I’m just too weak to handle the challenges of the world. That medication is the “easy way out”. In weekly therapy (+other lifestyle changes), but my anxiety/depression just seems to be getting worse.

Idk if it’s from the years of mental/emotional abuse or lack of boundaries / respect, but seeing my family has become awkward and tough. I went home for dinner today and just like other times - we don’t talk or I have to force conversation (so plans this weekend or what you do this week). I’m the oldest and trying to set an example for my sister but it’s tough. Idk if anyone else can relate. I legit came over for 1.5 hrs and left.

Has anyone came off Zoloft successfully? I have been reading about the withdrawals and it sounds terrible.
