Always have something else lined up. Do you know how many people were laid off and are still looking for jobs after months?? Don’t purposely put yourself in that situation.
If youre going to do it, make sure you have something saved up and you're hustling. Like 2-3 phone interviews a day, interviews lined up until next year until you find something.
I did it and I was able to find something much more quickly than I expected. I had to do 2 interviews in one day and phone call after phone call.
However, there was a lot of anxiety and I wasn't sure what I was doing. So if you're not in a terrible place, start putting feelers out with friends and old co-workers. Reach back out to those recruiters on LinkedIn.
If you have enough money saved for 6 months, do it!
