I sent my initial enlistment paperwork showing my “start date” in the reserves and a second document with my discharge details. Yet they’re now asking for a “verification pin” from the US Army Reserves for proof of employment/service. Wtf is this verification PIN? Do they also want a notarized message from my recruiter? Figured honorable discharge document, DD214 and my initial enlistment paperwork would’ve sufficed

What more important for a good bonus irrespective of position - utilization, connections, or just importance to the firm? All thoughts welcome!!

My bf took a guys trip to Caribbean to celebrate a good friend of 20+ year’s milestone bday. The friend’s bday is the day before mine. Normally bf and I trip for my bday over the holiday weekend. My unit recently changed their LIK policy. We were originally able to use LIK for 2 nights (Friday night, Saturday night) if you live under 50 miles. Now we have to live 150+ miles out in order to get 2 nights. The memo was signed by a one star. Is there any way to fight this or is this one of those “welcome to the Army” things because the changes were made by a general?

TriCare reserve select vs Cigna oap: My new employer pays 100% for us so thinking of dropping TRS. There is a 12 month lock out, but I’m guessing that if I change employment I can get TRS again since that should be a QLE. Anybody else have experience with this?
