Don’t choose a nursing home based primarily on location. So many homes are garbage. Try to find annual inspection reports. Every nursing home gets inspected by the state for things like facility cleanliness, patient hygiene , medication errors and so on.

Moms who have successfully weaned, was there any fluctuations in your weight or blood glucose levels during weaning process? I did not gain any weight during pregnancy but gained around 10 pounds during breastfeeding period (1 year) and now as I am trying to wean, I am noticing a lot of fluctuations in my weight. Today, randomly I took a fasting blood glucose and it was of pre diabetes levels. I will definitely call my PCP but I am alarmed! Quick google tells me weaning has similar effect.
