After 10 interviews and a Lunch meeting with the CEO. I’ve been asked to answer and present a business case interview. I was given the interview schedule at the beginning of this process and never was this last item mentioned. Are they keeping me warm? Am I the backup plan? Are they looking for a perfect candidate?

Wow! This interview process sure seems… thorough… it is hard to tell what that company’s end game is. If you have other opportunities it might be good to look at those but if you really want this role I say do this final part of the interview. If they keep stringing you along after this I would confront them, in a professional manner of course, and ask what gives.

like

Nope totally normal for that level. It just means they really like you and you’re the top candidate. I’ve been in similar situations where there are two top candidates and they’re trying to break a tie.

like

Yikes. That's a lot.

I would confirm this is the final step and ask when will decisions be made.

I wouldn’t have the time for 10 interviews. Good for you, I hope you get it

Is anyone available today at 11 am EST to get on a zoom meeting with me? I want to get your critique on my business case presentation. If so please DM me for the zoom link. Any level of HR is welcomed

Theres no way to know for certain.

Hope everybody is having a good weekend so far! I’m wondering if anybody has any tips on what to do if they want to work in Europe? I’m based in the US but want to live and work in London. My current company doesn’t have a large presence in UK. Is my only option is to find another American company with a major office in London that I can transfer to in a few years? Or is it even possible to skip the middle man and directly apply for jobs in London?

Advice plz.
I was given a verbal offer from a firm. The base salary offered was much lower than my min expectation, so they offering a sign on bonus to get me closer. I asked them to see how much closer they can get me to my minimum target. They came back with a slightly higher signing bonus but the base salary didn’t budge. It’s still not my min salary requirement.
This is all over the phone.
They are sending me written offer soon.
Can I still ask for more because the base salary isn't great.
